CARE Waitakere Trust is home to the Te Atatu Peninsula Community Food bank that provides food packages for families living in and around Te Atatu Peninsula. Packages are made up by a team of local volunteers on a Tuesday and Thursday. The TAP food bank is all about community: local people helping others in their community. Your donation will help us include fresh food in food packages for the next six months.

About us

CARE Waitakere offers a range of support services including affordable counselling for adults, children, and couples, free budgeting advice and advocacy, family support including social work and a foodbank for emergency food assistance.

Use of funds

Funds raised will go towards purchasing fresh food items to include in food packages and shelving for food storage.
