We are a group of likeminded individuals passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people of New Zealand and our community.

Taranaki

The BDO east to west Charity Ride is riding from East Cape to New Plymouth to raise money for the Life Education Trust. Cyclist all pay their own way so all funds raised go direct to our chosen charities.

While there are many worthy charities to ride for, selecting one where funds go directly to the cause rather than being absorbed in administrative costs was important to us.

The Life Education Trust we see as an extension to the awareness of depression and suicide which we generated in our 2015 ride. It all begins with our youth, by giving them the right education to assist them in making the right life choices.

As a group when we ride we leave no rider behind. The Life education trust tries to leave no child behind on their life journey.

Please state which region you would like your donation to go to.

About us

We are a group of like minded individuals passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people of

New Zealand and our community by doing what we love... riding bikes. Our goal is to raise awareness of

our nominated charities, and to raise funds by cycling throughout New Zealand.

The Cyclist all pay their own way and all funds raised on givealittle go to our chosen charities.

Our challenge is three-fold: to conquer the physicality of the ride, to contribute to our community in a

positive way and increase the awareness of our chosen charities, on their behalf.

3 days to go  19 February 2018

Only 3 days to go before we had across to the east cape and the hospitality of the Matahi O te Tau Marae and Rongoitekai (Penu) Marae.

We are all getting excited. We have a number of schools that have come on board helping with the fund raising. Highlands intermediate, Inglewood primary school, Puketapu and Oakura.

This is an example of the kids looking after their own. They all love Harold.
