Tauranga LandSAR's New Equipment Trailer

When someone goes missing in the bush, on the coast, or in the hills around Tauranga, LandSAR volunteers drop everything—work, family dinners, warm beds—to respond. They head out in the dark, in the rain, and often with only minutes’ notice. But while the commitment is strong, the gear we rely on isn’t always easy to move. Right now, our team is operating without an appropriate equipment trailer, which means slower deployment, scattered gear, and precious time lost when every minute matters.

As we do not have a dedicated base, a new equipment trailer would allow us to keep our rescue tools organised, protected, and ready to roll at a moment’s notice. It means faster responses, safer operations, and a better chance of bringing someone home.

Tauranga LandSAR is entirely volunteer‑run. We don’t charge for rescues, and we rely on the generosity of our community to stay mission‑ready. Your donation isn’t just helping us buy a trailer—it’s helping us save lives, support families, and continue being there for people on their worst day.
