Taurean has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Melanoma Cancer

Our good friend Taurean has been diagnosed with stage 2 Melanoma Cancer in his foot.
As he was only 5 months into his health insurance plan he is unable to be paid out and can no longer work, with a huge journey still to go through and an approx 5 year road to recovery, we want to try and help him be as stress free as possible so he can focus on what truly matters.
On Friday the 1st Taurean had surgery to remove 3 toes and 2cms on his foot and will be having surgery again on the 21st to have some lymph nodes removed also.

Upcoming dates.
December 15th, 2017 - Pre-Op
December 19th, 2017 - Meeting with the Surgeon who has pushed my recent surgeries forward fast: Bevan Jenkins.
December 20th, 2017 - Surgery to remove remaining Lymph Nodes and Skin Grafting to the left exposed foot.
December 20th, 2017 - Skin Graft Surgery
Skin Graft cut from upper left thigh, placed to left foot amputation wound and last remaining Lymph Nodes removed on the left upper left.
Xmas Day, 2017
Skin Graft looking good so far! Vac to be put back on and checked again on Wednesday 27th. Can start to weight bare and move about now on crutches. Pain is minimal, just one sharp pinch point where a blood blister was on the bottom of my foot but will eventually go away.

I'm finally going home
January 5th, 2018 - ActiVAC removed and gone for good 😊
Everything is on track right now. I am so relieved and over the moon to have this machine off. It has done it's job. Skin Graft has attached very well. 40mls of fluid removed from the stitches. No more time restrictions. Phase 2 of healing begins!
