Closing This Page - Final Update
24 April 2017So, I received a call from a friend of Taylor's mother asking me to close Taylor’s give a little page and give the money back. I had already decided to do this before the call as it seemed unlikely Taylor was going to make it to the dentist in the short term. I believe there are too many distractions in her life at this time. They are grateful for the support, but felt we were unlikely to accomplish our give a little objectives given existing circumstances.
The phone call advised that Taylor (and her partner) are not exactly homeless and may have a state home, also the family has been helping and supporting Taylor including attempts to get her teeth fixed.
To clarify, in my many meetings with Taylor I have never asked of her circumstances, just the single focus of helping her with her teeth.
Give a little will be contacting everyone that has donated to refund their money or to donate to the City Mission, with who I've had a lot of interaction over the last months.
