Help Taylors Mistake Surf Lifesaving Club rebuild the clubhouse!
Canterbury
The Taylor's Mistake Surf Life Saving club is a volunteer organisation established in 1916 to look after beach goers. The club relies on members to provide the thousands of hours required to prevent deaths and injuries at the beach and surrounding areas every summer.
WE NOW NEED YOUR HELP!
The Christchurch earthquakes destroyed our clubhouse.
After years of insurance negotiations, the Club has finally been successful in gaining all necessary consents and we are delighted to have started the rebuild of our clubhouse. The new facility promises to retain the community-focused attributes of the past whilst ensuring its fit for the future. Designs are modest, and we invite you to view these at www.taylorsmistake.com
Unfortunately, through battling the insurers, planning the rebuild, and putting in temporary facilities to keep our vital lifeguarding services operational for the wider community means we now have a funding shortfall. To complete this important community project, we need your help.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to help us continue to help you. Your generous support will ensure the Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club can continue to be your guardians at the beach, helping to prevent drownings for the next 100 years.
