To ensure funds are paid to the right person, we will hold distribution until we have verified next-of-kin and confirmed the appropriate family representative to receive and manage the funds raised.
Wrap Te Whero’s whanau in Aroha
Wellington
Te Whero’s sudden passing has left an enormous hole in the hearts of everyone who loved him. He was a special young man, deeply cherished, and his loss is being felt far and wide — especially by his younger siblings, Josie Rose and Charlie.
So many people have reached out asking how they can help. I know there are many who want to do something practical to support this beautiful whānau, so this is one way we can all stand alongside them.
We are raising funds to help ease the immediate financial burden of funeral expenses and to support Josie Rose and Charlie as they begin navigating life without their big brother.
Their guardian, Te Warena, has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to giving these children a stable and loving home. Alongside her, their dear friend Whaea Lee (Liz) continues to give unwavering support and care. Te Warena carries so much responsibility with quiet strength, and right now she deserves to feel the full embrace of her community around her.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help relieve financial pressure and allow the focus to remain where it should be — on grieving, remembering Te Whero, and caring for one another.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and aroha during this incredibly difficult time.
