Good things are happening!

Firstly, I want to thank everyone that's supported Lexi and Jess so far... the donations and page shares have been totally overwhelming!
Secondly, I'm stoked to tell you that Lexi has started responding to the latest round of drugs! These drugs were basically a last ditch effort and we had no idea whether she would respond to them or not, but the latest blood tests showed her cell count has almost doubled in two weeks.
While this sounds good, it kinda means she's gone from *really, really* anaemic to just *really* anaemic. But hey, there's been an improvement and for that, we are ridiculously happy :)
In herself, Lexi has gone from being a quiet, sleepy puppy to one that's got the energy to go to the beach and be a little bit naughty when she's not getting enough attention (i.e. when Jess is trying to study). When I visited last weekend I couldn't believe the change that had happened in two weeks.
Thanks to all of you, Jess can now afford 6 weeks worth of meds that she wouldn't have been able to otherwise. For that, she and I will be eternally grateful. Lexi is an amazing dog and with your help, she can carry on being the best mate and sidekick Jess relies on.
