  • Fundraising Update

    The fundraising for this project is still very active, with the fundraising committee having made successful applications with local fundraising organisations. There are some fundraising events planned for this year as well, so keep an eye out for these. We anticipate the artwork will be started shortly and it is to be completed and in place outside the Waihao Forks Hotel prior to Anzac day 2020.

  • Teds Bottle Fundraising Launch

    A very successful launch of the fundraising campaign was held at the Waihao Forks Hotel on Friday 19 October 2018. As at 19 November 2018, total fundraising was just under $9,000 including the Give-a-Little Page donations. On Wednesday 21 November, Council staff had a ‘WW2’ morning tea fundraiser raising $168.00.

    The Committee have commissioned a concept drawing and have begun to apply to major funders.
