Teresa's Mexico Mission Fund

When I was a teenager I felt a call on my life to do some sort of Mission work. Since then I've been looking for opportunities but all the doors have been closed. Until now...

My church is sending a team to Mexico to support our current long term missionaries, Wilf and Anita, who are working to translate the Bible into the Chinantec language. They need help with a few practical and technical things around the place which a small team of us are well qualified to provide. I currently work in the office at Hills Church and do quite a bit of design work and branding for events and resources. One of the things they would like help with is formatting books and designing a cover page. I have already been researching how the chinantec language looks and how to recognise certain phrases or the end of a paragraph. Also completely coincidentally before opportunity for this trip came about, I had already been learning Spanish online for about a year. I feel strongly called to go on this trip and am trusting God to provide the means for me to do so.

I am also planning a fundraising event - walking 10km from Lynfield to Onehunga on the 10th of October with some of the team. Will keep the page updated!
