    After 17 days in the hospital I am now recovering at home.

    Each day comes with small wins which I will take.

    My living wake is now booked for July because we don’t know what I’ll look like in October but right now and by July it’s looking good for me.

    Thank you again for the donations. Helping me to live while I’m living and spending time with my loved ones which is a priority for me.

    While we have adults kids, it’s our youngest that we want to wrap the support around along with our 4 grandchildren so again, thank you all x

  • A wee bump in the road!

    Still in hospital and feeling some improvements with each day however some news received yesterday has put a wee spanner in the works.

    The cancer has now appeared in my lungs.

    I’m taking a couple of days to put my feelings where they need to be and assess my capabilities.

    I have booked the venue for my livingvwake as that will still go ahead in October and gives me something to look forward to. Some home improvements and some time away with my family.

    I thank you all and appreciate everything cent donated to my page.

  • Family Time

    I have been admitted into hospital. Ben here for a week, was in ICU unconscious for 3bdays fighting 3 different infections and now in Oncology fighting every other thing.

    Sisters are here from Sydney and have been taking me out in the wheelchair which has been great.

    Was at Pegasus Arms yesterday as it was close and no, I haven’t been drinking but everyone has been at islets been nice feeling normal listening to the stories and laughter.

  • Back in hospital

    Hi team,

    Ended up back in hospital on Saturday thanks to some fast acting from hubby.

    Almost died but I’m back.

    Thank you to the ICU team and Oncology Ward.

    I’m still in the hospital recuperating until everything rebalances.

  • First day of chemo done!!

    Today I was up early, feeding my body to prepare for what chemo is going to take from me. Our son Lincoln and fiancé Samantha joined me.

    It went well, snacked right through and had lunch so I can nap before my family come over tonight to watch Crusaders take on the Chiefs.

    Got to catch up with a ‘small’ amount of cousins lol 26 of us I think which was so good for the soul. Good food and conversation is so uplifting.

    I am so blessed for the support and have been actually out of the bed and house with my son and daughter in law. I forgot for a second that I’m dying and it felt so good!

    My head has been all over the place but my heart is so full.
