Te Tonga O Te Ra means "the setting sun" As Aranui High School closes its doors for the last time the staff and students share their stories

Canterbury

We are a community film group creating a documentary about the last days of Aranui High School.

Aranui High School is being demolished in December 2016 to make way for the new Haeata combined Campus. The school does not the facilities to document the last days and the history. We have decided that it is important for these stories to be told, and have taken up the challenge to create a 3-part web series on the school, the history and the teachers who have played a big role in the history of the school.

The fundraising will cover the the production costs to create this documentary.
