Travel and filming a Thailand ceremony of a teenage boy whose passing was widely felt in the community of Aotea-Great Barrier

Last year a wonderful young man died in tragic circumstances on the island. A classmate and friend of my daughter, Indy. The grief was widely felt in our community. Aotea – Great Barrier Island. Most of you reading this will know the family concerned.

In early May this year, a ceremony will take place in Northern Thailand . Along with my daughter i intend to travel and capture the ceremony on video for a short documentary for those that cant be there. This is following on from a private video i produced for the family from the funeral on Aotea - Great Barrier island last year.

Those that know me well have seen my work on facebook – Aotea TV and The Knewz. (Please feel free to join the FB group). I film and edit the videos for free. Generally around important issues that are relevant to our small and independent community.

This will help cover travel and some of the associated travel expenses. Such as - insurance (for the equipment i will be taking) . Extra equipment is also required such as camera cards, a small back-up camera and camera case. ( Currently have the bulk of the gear needed).
