I have passed the 2000km mark on the te araroa trail. The barefoot walk has raised over $1600!!! Wow, could not be happier!

I am heading into Arthur's pass in the south island enrote for bluff. I have handed out 100's of plant based referrel cards since the start of the walk! The awareness is spreading one step at a time, one connection at a time, one seed at a time.

My feet are beaten and cut up but they are hardening. My spirits are high and I am motivated. Thank you too all who are supporting my cause! I, the animals and the planet are thankful and grateful for your generosity! Onwards and upwards we rise.

SAFE (Save Animals From Exploitation) is New Zealand’s leading animal advocacy organisation.

Founded in 1932, SAFE aims to make significant improvements to the lives of animals by raising awareness, challenging cruel practices, changing attitudes and fostering compassion so that they are no longer exploited or abused by humans. SAFE undertakes high-profile campaigns, public stalls, displays, demonstrations, meetings, education services and research to foster a more informed understanding of the state of human-animal relations in contemporary Aotearoa New Zealand.

SAFE is a registered, not for profit charitable organisation and is solely reliant on the goodwill of its supporters.
