Thank You All So much!
19 June 2025To everyone who supported the Indie 500, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
First, a big apology for the delay in sharing this update, life caught up with me a bit. I’ve been meaning to say thank you properly, and here it is.
Your support has meant the world. Thanks to your generosity:
We’ve now raised nearly $13,000 through Givealittle.
With extra cash donations, that’s an additional $400 — an incredible effort in a cashless age.
Over 35 hours, there was just 1 hour I walked alone — the rest shared with friends, family, and strangers turned supporters.
Together, we walked around 576kms — that's about 1600 laps of the field!
I didn’t quite make the full 500 laps as originally promised. But every step was made with heart, and every one of you made it worth it. I hope the spirit of the event, honouring Kayne and supporting Indie, came through loud and clear.
To the Young family and Brianna, this was all for you — for Kayne, for Indie, and for the love and strength you continue to show. You inspire us all.
And lastly, thank you to my amazing family for backing this wild idea and letting me give it my all. You made every one of those 228,000 steps and 166.9kms possible.
We came together to honour Kayne, to support Indie, and to show what’s possible when we care and connect.
