The sharp end of an Olympic dream
The Oceanic region has one spot for archery at the Olympics and I want a shot at it (pun fully intended). New Zealand will be there.

This is something that has been a dream of mine since I picked up a bow 10 years ago. My name is Sarah Fuller and I am an archer.
Destination Tokyo 2020
To achieve this goal I must compete in international ranking events all over the world, in order to warrant selection from the NZ Olympic committee. Qualifying for the one Oceania spot will require me to travel to a World Cup in Turkey, a World Cup in Berlin, the coveted World Championships in the Netherlands and the all important Continental Qualifying event in Samoa this year.
We are a small country, competing in a minority sport that receives no funding, apart from generous donors such as yourselves. Other than you, I am completely self funded by running have-a-go days teaching people how to do archery, running the odd sausage sizzle here and there, as well as running seminars and working full time.
I am looking for generous people who would like to share my vision of having an archer represent New Zealand at the Olympics.
In a nutshell - I need you to believe in me. I know I've got an excellent chance. I am surrounded by the best people I can be, I have the best coach I possibly could have. Heck I've even moved countries to train with archers who are better than me, in order to achieve this dream!
Its the 2019 qualifying period now. Next year will be just as tough in the lead up to the Olympics.

Use of funds
The funds will be used for flights, accommodation, uniform and entry fees to these events. Any surplus will roll over into the 2020 season prior to Olympic selection.

Its two days until i fly out to chase down a spot at the Olympics with my amazing team mates! Three kiwi girls taking on the world. Three full time workers competing against a field full of professional archers.
