On the 19th June 2024 we lost a pillar in our community.

Evan, Uncle Ev, Dad, Pa, Husband, Koro and Friend to many.

Evan lived a full life doing what he loved, working on the farm he called home since 1990. With wife Karen at his side he was a man of the land. Raising their children and then grandchildren there, showing them the way he loved to live. A life dedicated to his family, friends and animals. There is simply now a gaping hole that can never be filled.

There are no words that can describe the devastation felt in the community through this time as they deal with the loss of Evan. Through this givealittle I hope we can ease some of the financial burden they will be faced with in the near future, and allow his whānau time to focus on spending time together and treasuring special memories of their special person.

Funeral costs, day to day expenses as the Dugmore family move forward without Evan and figure out their new 'normal'

Thankyou all so much for the donation you made towards supporting Evan’s whānau through this tragedy. It goes without saying that your love, support and generosity has touched us all deeply and the messages of love, and of stories of Evan are treasured beyond what words can explain.

As this page closes I ask you to keep the Dugmore family in your prayers, and to remember them as time goes forward. The great hole he has left behind can simply not be filled, and it will be a long time of tough decisions and empty silence without him
