Supporting Sarah & Her Family After the Tragic Loss of Markus

On Sunday 27 September, Sarah Bultema received the news no mother should ever have to receive.

Her beautiful 18-year-old son, **Markus Bryan McMahon**, (wearing no hat) tragically lost his life as the result of a motor vehicle crash.

Sarah’s words say everything: **“I wish it wasn’t true. We are devastatingly heartbroken.”**

Sarah describes her boy as a lover of nature with a pure and sensitive heart. An old soul, wise beyond his years. A Viking fighter spirit. He had the biggest smile, gave the best hugs and was working hard and building towards a good future for himself.

He was also the best friend of his older brother, **Remi, 19**, and a much-loved big brother to his little sister, **Sunny, 9**.

This is an unimaginable loss for Sarah, Remi, Sunny and everyone who knew and loved Markus.

Sarah is a single mum and has recently been made redundant. In the midst of shock and profound grief, she is now facing funeral costs and all the unexpected expenses that come with saying goodbye to her beautiful boy, while continuing to care for her family.
