So mums heart is doing well and tests have come back saying she has a blood clot preventing it from contracting as well as it should, so no surgery is needed, and only blood thinners are required!
We will be starting a long term give a little to support mum on her journey after this one is finished. Thank you all so much for your generosity, we have been blindsided by all the love.
So mum has been in hospital for 5 days due to having fluid around her heart and had to have a procedure. She will need surgery later to help her heart more but at the moment we are discussing the best plan of action.
We are thankful for the Coronary team at Auckland Central, really great team <3 Mum's been bouncing back incredibly well, she's had some damage to her heart but it's still as big as ever as she tries to work helping others from her bed ( much to our disapproval)
She is due to come home today :)
We are looking at the treatment option Keytruda (in addition to our natural approach) for her cancer which has had some amazing results, but this is not funded for lung cancer yet, This is approximately 10 k a month, but looks like the best next step.
