Thea has been selected to perform at the 2019 Broadway Dreams Showcase in New York City!! But she needs your help getting there...

In January of 2019 Thea took part in the Broadway Dreams New Zealand summer intensive held at the Bruce Mason Centre, Auckland. This week long program is designed to strengthen New Zealand's upcoming talent, and allows students to receive training and support from current Broadway creatives and performers. At the end of the week the US faculty awarded 4 students a Scholarship into the Broadway Dreams annual New York Showcase held in New York City!! This showcase brings together the best performers from Broadway Dreams Showcases held all around the world including America, Canada, Brazil, Russia, Germany, and of course - New Zealand!!! This showcase is an incredible opportunity to work alongside Current Broadway performers, directors, and choreographers, and also network with the best 'broadway dreamers' from around the globe!! The showcase will be viewed by numerous representatives of the industry - from casting directors to broadway agents and more...!!!
Broadway Dreams was established in 2006 by the incredible Annette Tanner and has quickly developed into one of the most renowned theatre intensives in the Broadway Industry. Broadway Dreams has already taught Thea so much and she feels more motivated and determined than ever to make her broadway dreams come true. Thea is honoured to be traveling to New York with 3 other incredible kiwis to have the experience of a life time. Broadway Dreams has validated for Thea even more that this is what she wants to be doing, and she now has connections and friendships that will last a life time.
All and any donations you can make to help assist Thea with airfares, traveling expenses and accommodation for her adventure would be hugely appreciated. Although Thea is going to New York on the scholarship, this only covers the cost of her placement in the showcase.
Thea can't wait to share this incredible experience with all of you!! Theatre has always been her passion and has taught her so much already.
At just 16, Thea is humbled to have been awarded this scholarship. As she finishes her final 2 years of high school, a career is the performing arts has always and continues to be her dream and goal.
This truely is a dream come true for Thea and she can't wait for the showcase!!!
