the new world generator project

The world as we know it has almost run its course, so it’s high time we came together to co-creatively shape a new one.

My contribution to this process will involve; realising my design concept for a unique built & natural environment featuring a spiral shaped venue called the “Fenix”, which will function as a “new world generator"; launching by 2020, a playful 24/7, live/online, “new world generation experience” at this magical site.

The sculpturally designed “Fenix” venue will serve numerous new world generating purposes, one of which will be to document & globally share, peoples new world shaping ideas & dreams. This documentation will take place, when visitors to the Fenix choose to abandon themselves to the “new world generation experience”.

This will involve taking a voyage in a golden egg shaped capsule from the centre of the venue, to the circular viewing platform at the apex of the spiral dome above it. The viewing platform, high above the spiralling venue below, will be monitored 24/7 by cameras connected to the internet. So when voyagers step forth from the capsule, which will be transformed into an 8 petalled flower en route, they’ll be encouraged to share their dreams for a better world with everyone on our planet.

At this point in space-time, by standing tall at the “centre of the cosmos” alongside the “master of the universe”, they’ll be making history, by participating in the creation of a new world to come.

To accelerate the influence of these new world shaping contributions, it would be helpful to generate a spell powerful enough, to transform today’s world into the new world of our hopes & dreams. In order to achieve this though, we’ll need to elicit the support of a wizard, with the stature of Merlin of old.

So another aspect of the “new world generation experience”, will be to hold regular fun & celebratory events in & around the Fenix in the hope that; on such an occasion a mighty wizard will emerge from the golden egg capsule, illuminate the viewing platform with his/her presence, & cast a transmutational spell on the internet that will turn today’s world upside & inside out, thereby paving the way for the realisation of our new world dreams.

N.B; Although this aesthetically designed built & natural environment will primarily host a unique 24/7, live/online, new world generation experience & regular new world generation events, on a less fantastical & more practical level, it will economically sustain a small, innovative, social enterprise community by functioning as; a life affirming performance venue; kinetic work of art; solar power generator; planetarium; regular gathering place for celebrating seasonal & astronomical events; magical tourist attraction: site for works of art reflecting local & universal spiritual, mythical, astrological & cosmological themes.

Advancing the realisation of this dream will require commissioning someone with the appropriate skills, to create 3D computer imagery & a model of the Fenix venue, & the built & natural environment around it. Funds raised through “give a little” will be utilised for this purpose, & any excess monies will go towards creating a “new world generation” project website, & forming a NWG social enterprise or company.
