Fundraise for Therapy Rabbit Burma's Surgery
Hawke's Bay
On Wednesday 22nd August 2018 a lump was found on the side of our beloved therapy rabbit Burma. He was taken to the vet, and a sample was taken from the lump to see if we could find out what was going on. The following day the vet rang to say that the results said it could be one of 4 things, one of those being very nasty which would definitely need surgery. He is a very special animal to us, and we want to do everything we can for him but being a charity that relies solely on donations and fundraising we are having to ask for some help as vet fees can be costly. On Tuesday 28th August we had a phone call from the vet and we have decided that surgery is going to be the best option.
To create an environment where a
wide range of adults and children
living with disabilities may find
peace, and form emotional
connections to a vast array of
animals through activities,
interaction, and care with our team.
Any money received will be used to pay the cost of Burma's surgery. Any surplus will go towards his ongoing care post surgery.
