Hit by a driver who fled. Now stuck with huge repair costs while saving for uni. Any help to get back on track means the world.

I was just driving along a valley enjoying good scenery on a narrow road. I, then, found myself wanting to go back home. Went left into a driveway to prepare myself for a U-turn, and I just suddenly got hit on the front right side of my car because the driver of the vehicle that hit me was I assume going more than the speed limit just from how swiftly it passed and how greatly the impact was on my car, and he was mostly on my side of that narrow road. Before I even get to properly look at his vehicle registration, the car was already gone because there was a very arched curve straight ahead. I also didn't try to run after that vehicle because I was scared for myself. I wasn't familiar with the place and didn't know how badly the damage of my car was—if it was even still drive-able, etc. I tried claiming a cover from my insurance but they declined it because I apparently was not supposed to be carrying this passenger when this passenger was, in fact, my guardian (I have restricted license). They hit and ran away leaving me with external and internal damages on my vehicle which resulted into a $4,900 repair cost and is not also allowed to be driven until fixed. I was trying to save for my university this upcoming school year, yet I come across this accident. Police also couldn't identify because there weren't any cameras in this area, unfortunately.
Every cent would mean everything to me. No money will be left unused for it will all go to the payment of the repair. Will be very much appreciated.
