They said it would take a miracle. Help Isobelle fight Stage 4 ovarian cancer and give our young family more time.
Northcote, Auckland
In September 2025, my partner Isobelle was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer at just 41.
After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, she is now on targeted treatment. Some tumors have shrunk, but cancerous lymph nodes remain. We were gently told that at this stage, only a miracle could completely save her.
We refuse to stop fighting.
On some rare good days, we go to the beach, have lunch, and raise our toddler, Quinn. On hard days, pain leaves her needing rest and strong medication.
We’re grateful to have health insurance covering most major treatments. But I am the only one working, on a 24/7 roster that includes nights and weekends. We have no family here in New Zealand — it’s just the three of us. When I’m on shift and Isobelle is unwell, caring for a toddler becomes incredibly difficult.
Funds raised will help cover essential groceries, daily living costs, and hire a nanny to fill the gaps when my work schedule and her pain collide. It will also help us seek a second medical opinion overseas — because when you’re told a miracle is the only answer, you look for every possible door that hasn’t yet been opened.
Any donation will help. No amount is too small.
We are simply fighting for more time.
For more memories.
For more ordinary days together.
Thank you for standing with our family. 💛
Isobelle is my life partner.
Funds raised will help cover essential groceries, daily living costs, and hire a nanny to fill the gaps when my work schedule and her pain collide. Funds will also go towards potential unfunded treatment in Australia (cryoablation), as well as potential unfunded treatment here (immunotherapy and/or Elahere). A page update will be posted once the treatment is confirmed.
