Tikopia and Anuta . Unique and special heritage Islands destroyed by cyclone Lola

Friends of Tikopia. I have updated most of you via e mail allready, The Desaster committee in Honiara have successfully loaded a ship with first help like rice, tarpolen and other urgent needed goods. Specific your money has been used to pay Scott the skipper of the vessel that has established communication with Tikopia for is costs as per his request. ( hmmm….) and the remaining funds have been transferred in agreement with Thomas Lien , author of the film ‘ message in a bottle’ to Brunox in Lata / Nendo . Brunox will use our fund, and the funds from Norway to purchase root crops, seedlings and sago palm leaves in Utupua, where these goods anre anvailable in quantities and cheaper than in Lata or Honiara He will send them with the next available vessel . Brunox is a close friend of Thomas and the Ariki Tafua. I am in contact with him and will update you with any shipping news. I will also try to convince the new owner of Dona Catharina to visit Tikopia this sailing season.
