Dr. Joanita Bendita Jong talked at a vet meeting in Wellington this year. We were all impressed with her commitment. Despite little pay and long hours attempting to control disease and improve animal health in her homeland, her dedication to her young country is inspiring. Her work also directly benefits those communities who rely on their livestock to survive.
