Titirangi Waka Ama fundraising for a W6 Waka Ama and participation in the Queen Lili'uokalani races

Titirangi Waka Ama is sending a team to the Queen Lili'uokalani races in Kona Hawaii in 2018, fundraising for a W6 Waka Ama and we are also developing a way to progress our aspiration to be based at French Bay Titirangi Auckland. We are also supporting Sjimmy-Zev to participate in the 2018 Worlds competition in Tahiti paddling for Manukau.

About us

We aim to present a vision for Titirangi through to Cornwallis as an active Waka culture Precinct / Centre in Waitakere, Auckland.This will encompass a purpose built shed to accommodate Waka ama at Otitori Beach. To support whanau when/if required. We need resources to purchase building material, buy safety equipment and also a new W6 Waka ama.Titirangi Waka Ama is also fundraising to participate in the Queen Liliuokalani races at Kona, Hawaii. Thursday, August 30, 2018 through Monday, September 3, 2018
