Sudden and tragic loss of our beloved boy
Hamilton, Waikato
TJ was a beautiful boy, only 17 years old. He tragically spent 24 hours in ICU after being diagnosed with meningitis, before his life support was turned off due to him becoming brain dead because of the swelling in his brain. He has an older brother (Jordy) and mum (Julie) who are struggling with his sudden and tragic loss. We are making this page for Julie and Jordy so that they can grieve without stressing for the hassle of trying to pay for TJ's funeral costs. He was only 6 weeks away from graduating high school and had gathered a scholarship to go to university next year. Please donate anything you can at this difficult time as all finds will go to mum and Jordy towards TJ's funeral costs

Julie here, TJs mum, I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and generosity shown to us after we suddenly lost TJ just over 3 months ago. Our home is now a sanctuary of memories, inside and also we have created a memorial garden filled with solar lights for him, a shining tribute to his life, and every step and every thought is a reflection of the remarkable person TJ was. We attended his school year 13 graduation yesterday, an emotional yet empowering experience, something he was so proud to be so close to attending. The days have not made his loss easier, but I continue to find solace in his memory and strive to keep his legacy alive.
