To help Mrs Wang and her family to recover from a tragic loss
Auckland
On the 20th March 2019, Ms Liyan Wang's life was forever changed as she learnt her husband was tragically killed in a car accident on his way to work. Liyan was informed of the sad news while she was at work and later accompanied by her supporting colleagues and the local police officers to go through the heartbreaking aftermath.
Ms Wang came to New Zealand about 9 months ago carrying a open work visa based on partnership to join her husband who had been working for a construction company as a carpenter until the accident. With the hope to earn a good income before returning to their homeland for a better life, the couple have been working hard whilst supporting each other by saving up every dollar possible including sharing the only car they can afford to commute. When dropped at work this morning, they would never know it was the last time they got to speak to each other.
With her permission, Old Country Food Ltd as Liyan's employer would like to ask for the help and support from our loving community by this fundraising, $1 or $10, any support would make a difference.
Ms Wang is an employee of Old Country Food who suffered the loss of her husband on the morning of 20.03.2019 from a tragic car accident. With Ms Wang's permission, Old Country Food Ltd as her employer is initiating a fundraising on her behalf to gather as much support for her as possible.
The fund will go directly to Ms Wang to help her recover and whilst going through one of the most difficult situation one may face.
