Top NZ Gymnast Chasing Olympic Spot Alongside Mum's Cancer Diagnosis

Seventeen-year-old Reece Cobb (Waikato Tainui/Ngāti Te Wehi), from Tauranga has an opportunity to seize the one Olympic Women’s Artistic Gymnastic's spot for New Zealand. A huge opportunity for her, but at the same time her mum Miranda has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, so it has been a challenging time.

Reece has 18 weeks to raise money to travel to the qualifying international competitions in Germany, Doha, Baku and Egypt in February and place high enough to gain enough points to get this coveted Olympic spot.
