Topical Steroid Withdrawl and Chronic dermatitis.

In mid 2023 I did some research and found out I had pre Cushing Syndrome symptoms which is high cortisol from the high potency Corticosteroid dermol cream I was prescribed.

Cushing syndrome is irreversible so I decided to ween off my dermol cream slowly and finally came off them in March 2024.

Since then I have been hospitalized twice with sepsis and cellulitis and have spent the last three winters in agony and have had very bad hair loss also the last three winters due to the strong immunosuppressants I am required to take to keep me alive.

My husband and I had to close our successful business we had run for five years so he could look after me. We also spent tens of thousands on private dermatologists and skin specialists, without any improvement.

The significant hair loss is affecting my confidence and I would love a real hair wig (as synthetic wigs itch me, there is no funding available for this).

Also the opportunity of doing CAP therapy in Wellington would be amazing, it has shown great results for other people.

I also have to buy many non prescribed creams, supplements and dressings that I cannot get funding for and we are struggling to pay for each week.

I have to wash everything everyday including sheets, towels, clothes etc and shower sometimes multiple times a day which means our power bills are through the roof.

Also the nerve pain medication and anti itch medications have left me with an extremely dry mouth which cause cavities, I need $2000 worth of dental done.
