  • Emotional Week!!

    Well what a roller coaster of a week it has been. Firstly last Thursday I had to sit my gorgeous boys down and tell them that the Oncologist had said that if the current treatment I am on doesn't work or if I don't do any treatment I may only have 6-12mths to live. How incredibly hard this was to do, luckily I had one of my best friends here who also happens to be an oncology nurse. My boys are very brave!! HOPE was restored today when I had a huge donation come in :) this made me cry <3. There are some very kind and caring people out there. xx

  • Funding required for Stage 4 BC treatment (Kadclya)

    I saw my Oncologist today for the results of my CT scan. We also talked about how much money I need to raise for Kadclya the treatment she feels is best for me to fight the cancer. Well what can I say except its a lot, $10,000 every 3 weeks this includes GST and infusion cost, the 4th one is free (how nice of them !!) then another $10,000 for another 3 weeks and so on. This is all starting to feel quite daunting and scary and then I look at my boys and think " I CAN DO THIS" or shall I say "WE CAN DO THIS" Thank you x

  • Scan results for the 24th July 2017

    Hi everyone I just wanted to give you a quick update from my most recent CT scan. The scan showed progression in and around my chest area, my sternum is crumbling from being eaten away by the cancer. The lining in my lung has got thicker which is causing a serious amount of fluid which in time will leave me unable to breath, this will need to be drained soon. I have had this procedure done before and they drained off 1.8 litres of fluid and it was a rather painful procedure.
