Supporting our beautiful Lills to access vital unfunded treatment for TNBC, so she can focus on recovery and being a Mum to Vienna.
Hawke's Bay
At 34 weeks pregnant, Lilly and Guy’s world was flipped upside down when Lilly was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), a rare and aggressive form. In the final weeks of her pregnancy, she began chemotherapy, before welcoming her beautiful baby girl, Vienna, safely into the world.
Over the past two months, Lills has truly shown us what she’s made of. She’s faced everything with strength and grace. It’s been incredibly special watching her become a mum to little Vienna, who has already brought so much love to their lives. Lills has now resumed treatment which involves a further three months of chemotherapy before surgery and radiation.
TNBC does not respond to hormone therapy which is typically used in the months and years after initial treatment to help reduce the risk of recurrence. TNBC has one of the highest rates of recurrence among breast cancer. Keytruda (pembrolizumab) has been proven to meaningfully reduce the risk of TNBC returning amongst patients. While this drug is funded for Stage 4 TNBC patients, as Lilly is Stage 3 it is unfunded. To access this potentially lifesaving drug will cost $100,000.
Lilly and Guy have already been overwhelmed with the support received from friends near and far. Many others have asked how they can help, any contribution to help her access Keytruda, big or small, would be gratefully received.
Thank you for being part of Lilly’s journey and helping make this next step of treatment possible.

Funds will go towards Keytruda, an unfunded immunotherapy treatment that gives Lilly the best chance of successful treatment and preventing the cancer from returning.
Thank You Everyone 18 May 2026
Hi everyone,
Lilly and Guy are overwhelmed by the response and, while they wish they could thank you all individually, they have asked me to pass on their enormous gratitude.
Every message of encouragement and support is deeply felt and gives them a huge amount of strength as Lilly continues treatment.
Thankyou all so much for being part of the journey to get Lilly the treatment she needs.
