Treatment for Shea

Shea arrived at the pound in a terrible and neglected state. Emaciated and covered in a severe rash. Despite all that, she showed everyone there that she was a sweet, loving and gentle girl, who just wanted to be loved, which is when we got the call.

Once she was brought in to Pound Hounds Rescue care and taken in for her vet check, it was discovered that this poor kid had an ear infection and skin rash all over her body caused by environmental allergies. We also found out that she is only about a year old - due to her condition we had thought she was much older.

This meant we had a very big decision to make and after much discussion on what would be best for her, as well as some well educated advice, we have decided that we want to give this amazing girl every single chance we can to get well and live a full and happy life with her person (whomever that may be). But we need help to fund her treatment and care. The course of treatment she needs is expensive and we have limited funds and a full house of other dogs needing care too, so please, help us to help Shea and donate towards her care - every single dollar donated helps!
