Needing donations for the upkeep of all our rescue reptiles at Auckland Fish, Turtle and Rescue as we are a non profit charity.
Auckland
Auckland Fish Turtle and Reptile rescue is a non-profit organisation. I work alongside the SPCA and take in any turtles, fish or reptiles that come my way for numerous reasons. I have been running the rescue for over10 years. The upkeep for the animals varies from feeding housing, medications, vet bills, upkeep/maintenance of tanks and enclosures as well as picking up and delivering critters. I am needing to upgrade "Turtletopia", the turtle enclosure, to make it bigger and more turtle friendly, and also so potential owners can see how easy and effective a turtle enclosure can look to encourage adoption. I have set up this Give a Little page, to help make this become a reality.
The “Turtletopia” enclosure updates will be needing the following: fencing, pond lining, pond pumps, plants, mulch, sand, soil, rocks, paint, and probably a small digger to dig the ponds.
We get an average of 2-4 turtles in every week, so need donations to help with the upkeep of so many reptiles.
I have been running the rescue for over 10 years now, and I am the sole carer for all of the animals that get taken in.

I have also set up a Facebook page with individual turtle stories and updates, so come along and get to know these 60+ turtles and their fishy friends.
