TUTEARI'S CROSSFIT DREAM

Mauri ora koutou katoa.
My name is Tuteari Te Rauna-Lamont. I am 12 years old and attend Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Nga Uri a Maui.
My passion is sports and kaupapa maori such as Mau Rakau and Kapa Haka. I love Rugby and one day I want to be an All Black.
I also love Crossfit which I have been training at CrossFit 4010 for 2 years. Since April 2014 when I participated in my first competition I set a goal with my mum and dad to one day participate in the World Crossfit Teen Gathering.
I have now qualified to compete at the World Crossfit Teen Varsity Gathering, being held in Ramona, California, USA, in July 2015!
I will be competing in the 12 - 14 yr division. My current ranking is 12th in the world on the Gauntlet Leader Board. I am excited that I will be participating alongside four of my friends and other athletes from all over the world.
I am proud and privileged to be representing not only NZ but my rohe Te Tairawhiti, my whanau and friends and i hope i can do you all proud.
I would be extremely grateful for any sponsorship you can give to help me reach my target of $5000.

Kia ora whanau, I had a weeks holiday but now I'm back into the grind of things.
All our whanau are helping out where they can.
Today our team had our first interview on Te Kaea.
