Meet Tyson, 14, battling cancer for 4+ years. After multiple relapses, he needs our support to keep fighting. Together, we can help!
Hamilton, Waikato
Meet Tyson, a remarkable 14-year-old who has faced more challenges in his young life than many do in a lifetime. Since being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on March 9, 2020, Tyson has shown incredible resilience. After achieving remission just four months later, he was hopeful for the finish line in June 2022. But life had other plans.
In April 2022, just three months shy of completing his treatment, Tyson faced a devastating relapse with a rare form of cancer that left doctors without a prognosis. Despite the grim outlook, Tyson fought back, defying the odds and once again entering remission.
Just when it seemed he was on track to end this battle, another heartbreaking blow struck: Tyson relapsed again, this time facing Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was then in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant, and in a beautiful twist of fate, his brave younger sister, Jaeda-Kruz, has stepped up to be his donor.
As Tyson restarted treatment on June 18, his family remains by his side, navigating this uncertain journey with unwavering hope. Tyson’s story is one of bravery, perseverance, and the unbreakable bonds of family. But he needs our help to continue this fight. Your support can make a difference in his battle against cancer. Together, let’s give Tyson the chance he deserves. Will you join us in supporting him?
