Tim asks
Hi Myles, congratulations on the work and all things being equal, earlier = better, but can you please be more specific about the benefits of early detection? There's no cure for the animal infected, so is there anything other than animal welfare (i.e. culling faster = less time suffering) that means results in minutes vs weeks a game changer?
Myles
Hi Tim, thank you for your question. During the week that the cattle are infected and waiting for results to be returned, the disease spreads throughout the rest of the herd. If we can detect Johne's earlier, we can limit the spread in the clinical stage of the infection and prevent further infections in the future.
Jack asks
How do I invest in a cow. Can I also see Myles in person for a meeting about this investment
Myles
Hi Jack, thank you for your question. We are simply looking to design a detection kit for Johne’s disease and do not possess cows. If you would like to invest in us, feel free to donate here in our give a little page!
