UGANDA CLEAN WATER PROJECT

  • Water Project is now completed

    THANK YOU for all the help toward this project.

    The provision of water at the David Tyler School is going to make a huge impact on the children and the community.

    We provided 2 x 30,000 litre brick tanks plus 2 plastic tanks (10,000 and 5,000 litres)

    In addition we have arranged for the government to run 1.5 kilometres of water pipe to connect to their supply.

    The school will only use this water in the dry seasons when the tanks run dry. Mostof the time the water tanks will be filled from the roof water. We have to pay for the government supply but water can be sold to people in the community to recover some of this cost. So once again thank you.

  • Still fundraising for the Uganda Water Project

    The children are allowed back to schools in Uganda after being closed for a year with Covid. We re still fundraising for the water project.

  • Making progress but not there yet

    We are very grateful to Oxygen Property Manangement who are fundraising to help us provide clean drinking water for the David Tyler school in Uganda.

    We still have a way to go but hopefully we will eba ble to go ahead with this project soemtime in 2021

  • Fundraising Update

    Thank you to everyone who is helping with the fundraising so we can provide this school in Uganda with clean water to drink. Some recent generous donations have been made directly to the Dugdale Charitable Trust so we now have over $5,000 towards the goal of $15,000.

    The photo is of Daniel with three abandoned chidlren that were resuced last year and now attend the David Tyler School.

  • David Tyler School New Buildings

    The school is almoist completed. Wtch the drone aerial footage of the 7 primary classrooms, 3 nursery classrooms, 6 staff accomodation rooms, new kitchena dn new latriens. We are also renovating the original small concrete buildng as the administration office.
