Ukraine is broken, Ukranians need help.

I have a friend in Ukraine who has been forced to flee her home with her daughter and grandson, and after many days of travel across three countries, has landed in Karlovy Vary in the Czech Rebublic. There are other Ukrainian refugees there as well who are also traumatised, displaced and disconnected from loved ones, living in fear and suffering nightmares, many who have lost those closest to them.

I have personally sent funds to my friend, but I would like to do more with your help… If you feel a sense of horror and helplessness for these poor souls as I do, then maybe knowing that your hard earned dollars could go directly to a contact person who could pass it on to her fellow Ukrainians might help. It will most definitely help these people who don’t know what may happen day to day and who may never be able to return to their beautiful Ukraine.

We can only imagine the terror and the horror they have experienced and it’s not over, even if they are relatively safe in the meantime.

If you are moved to give a little, I know it will be a gift from the heart, from one human to another with love, in an urgent time of need, that we here can only imagine and hopefully will never know.
