Providing vital food, shelter, and medication to Ukrainian children in war zones, as well as means of transportation into safer areas.

Nationwide

This is the New Zealand division of a grassroots organisation, Українські Діти Проти Війни (Ukrainian Children Against the War), which started in Kyiv during the Russian invasion. This organisation consists of volunteers who are working in besieged Ukrainian cities and helping the most vulnerable populations. Currently, around six million children are trapped in Ukrainian cities under siege, many of whom are hiding in basements of residential buildings that are under potentially deadly air attacks. These children, facing injury or death, are in a dire need of food, medication, and transportation out of the sieged cities through humanitarian corridors.

Rita Adams' involvement (page creator)

Ukrainian Children Against the War are run by my dear friends in Kyiv and the Soprazhinskiy family, who were given the choice of leaving Kyiv but stayed instead to provide vital aid to those who could not flee.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on delivering food supplies, warm clothes, medication, and transportation for children currently trapped in war zones in Ukraine.
