A man named Leo Liongson had a blood clot in the brain last year and underwent 3 major brain surgeries. He is still not 100% on his right arm and leg and could not speak well. He could not get back to work since last year and his wife spent most of her time taking care of him thus they didn't have income. They only live in a ex co worker's house and is very kind to them, giving them shelter and food. I want to raise at least $5,000 to buy a ticket to go home, to help him start a new life back in the Philippines and I also want to give some money to this very kind person in return for her kindness. Now, his visitors visa is almost expired and he needs to go home. He wants to go home because he doesn't want to be a burden anymore to anyone. Fortunately, his wife was offered a job today and will stay behind to work to continue support her husband and children in the Philippines. She will be the bread winner of her family. Let's please help her. He came here to New Zealand in high hopes for a good future for him and his family only to be shattered by an unexpected health problem - a blood clot in the brain. Please let us help them pick the pieces up and restore their life and hopefully their future if the wife's job goes well. Thank you.
I just knew this person from one of the members from our Bible Study Christian Group who also tried to ask for help for them and because they do not have much friends and they neither have family or relatives here, the community should help and be their family.
We need help to raise $5,000 to buy a ticket to go home, to help him start a new life back in the Philippines - his maintenance medications and possible medical therapy and to repay a person.
