Unfunded Cosmetic Procedures for Ella Procter

Ella Procter is in the middle of a life changing journey. At 17 yrs old, Ella was diagnosed with a very rare Uveal Melanoma tumour. The unbearable pressure and pain meant Ella needed her eye removed. An intensive 6 week course of radiotherapy followed the enucleation. The high levels of radiation caused the tissue in and around the eye socket to shrink and deteriorate. The hope of a prosthetic eye was fading. The radiation also caused long term damage to the hair follicles of the eye lashes and brows. It's been a long complex journey so far and Ella still has a lot more to go. Following multiple complications, we are happy to now have a new plan moving forward. The next chapter in this journey includes.

1. A temporary orbital prosthesis.

2. Glasses with tinted lenses to help disguise the orbital prosthesis.

3. A full brow reconstruction by Optometrist and qualified microblading expert, Jason Dhana.

We are looking for financial support for the unfunded parts of this process. The estimated total of unfunded expenses is $5000.

Ella is hopeful for a realistic prosthetic eye in the future, once the socket has had more time to heal and following eyelid reconstruction. For now, this temporary measure will hopefully bring some joy and increased confidence to Ella. You can follow Ella's journey on tiktok @ellasfight.
