Whanau Raffle Fundraiser
3 October 20183 October, 2018 The family have started a raffle at $10 a ticket. They have all joined together and put in food for a food raffle. Again all funds raised will be going to the family for the new house. We are all working together and doing our part to make it easier on the family. Thank you all for your support. I can not express that enough.

House Demolition
9 September 20189 September, 2018 House was demolished today. I just want to thank the two guys that came along with their tractors to demolish the house. I have added a few pictures of the work they done today and our final gathering together at the house that once was. Now that the house is finally down we can start planning for the new house. The family have decided to run a local grocery raffle to continue raising funds for the house and we will still be taking donations on this give a little page and keeping you all updated. We have videos of the demolition but because it meant so much to some of the family they have asked that the videos are not uploaded to the Internet out of respect to our late grandmother. Thank you all so much again for all of your support. We really do appreciate it. As of yet we have not needed to use any of the donation money from this page as the demolition was done out of love so we fed the two guys and the family and gave them a (koha) gift. Thank you to all the family that came down to help and support us through this time.

Permit for Removal
6 September 20186 September, 2018 We finally received the permit to pull down the house today and we are looking at pulling it down this weekend. We are all working together as a family to fundraise for the new plan the family has for this land. Power has been disconnected and removed from the house. Will keep you all updated on what happens as this chapter comes to an end and opens up to new beginnings. Once again, thank you all for your support!

House in probate
6 September 2018After my grandmother passed away the house went into probate which means we could not insure the house. Even though it states clearly in her will the house belongs to the family. We are now looking at paying the fees to get the house out of probate so that the new house we put in its place can be fully covered by insurance.
