Our annual camp is a great example of getting our members out of their comfort zones, learn new skills, cook for themselves trying new activities and becoming well rounded people, our camp has been our highlight to the beginning of every year.

Hi, I'm Gemma,

I am the operational manager for the UPP Club, My goal is to help and facilitate these magical opportunities for our Down Syndrome community and youth.

About us

The UPP Club aims to help all of our Down Syndrome members grow their social skills and develop functional life skills. This is achieved with a range of activities that are planned to meet the social aspirations of our members.

UPP Club provide the opportunity to get together and have fun. This helps the members establish an understanding of the group, as well as providing the opportunity for new found friends to spend time together.

UPP Club arranges a variety of group activities that build on social interaction and assist in developing the skills required for members to live fulfilling in integrated life’s in the community. This gives the members the chance to develop and apply their social skills, whilst creating a fun, relaxing and safe atmosphere for interactions.

Members will be provided with an UPP Club phonebook, assisting them in maintaining the friendships they have made outside of UPP Club time.
