Urgent Fundraiser – Please Support a Grieving Family

We are heartbroken to share that a young mother from Christchurch has tragically lost her life during childbirth. She delivered a beautiful baby girl, but sadly suffered a heart attack during delivery and passed away.

The newborn baby has lost her mother before even beginning life, and the family both in Christchurch and in India is in deep shock and distress. Along with the emotional loss, the family is now facing significant expenses to send her body to India so that final rites and religious rituals can be carried out according to their traditions.

We are raising funds to help support the family during this incredibly difficult time and to cover the costs involved in repatriation and related arrangements. ACC may provide some financial support to the family.
