URGENT: Help Amber Rose Access Life-Saving Treatment

Hawke's Bay

Amber Rose is a devoted mum of four, and right now, she is fighting for her life.

Amber has been diagnosed with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC) — an aggressive, fast-moving cancer with very limited treatment options. She has already been through everything available to her. Now, she has just one option left: a targeted treatment called Trodelvy.

Trodelvy is approved in New Zealand for her condition — but it is not funded. Without it, Amber is running out of time. The cost of this treatment is $7853 for each 3 week cycle, plus travel to Palmerston North on day 1 and day 8.

This is not just about treatment. This is about giving a mother more time with her children. Time to be there for them. Time to love them, guide them, and make more memories they will carry forever.

The cost is overwhelming and impossible to manage alone. That’s why we are asking — urgently — for your help.

Please donate today.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Amber one step closer to accessing this life-extending treatment.

If you can’t donate, you can still make a powerful difference:
Share this page. Talk about Amber. Help us reach as many people as possible.

Time matters. Your support could help give Amber more of it.

Thank you for standing with Amber and her family when they need it most.

Standing with Amber and her children   6 May 2026

Dear Supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we share an update on Amber.

Amber is now too unwell to continue treatment with the non-funded drug Trodelvy — a treatment that your generosity made possible for her to begin. She has now entered palliative care.

Amber is 45 and a devoted solo mum of four — twin boys aged 10, a son aged 13, and a daughter aged 20. Her children have always been at the centre of her world, and everything she has done has been for them. Like any parent, she had hoped to be there for their future.

We are deeply grateful for the support shown so far. The funds raised through Givealittle will go towards covering the significant medical costs already incurred, and helping ease the financial burden on her family.

If you are able, we ask you to consider continuing your support — to help provide some stability and security for her children as they face life ahead without their mum.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
