I just wanted to share a quick update and clarify a few things.
These kittens aren’t part of any organisation — I’ve taken them in myself and have been caring for them independently. When I first brought them in, I didn’t realise they were unwell, but I’ve since learned a lot and have a better understanding of what they need and how to manage their care.
They’ve come a long way already. I’m cleaning them and their space multiple times a day, treating their eyes, giving appropriate medications, and making sure they’re well fed and comfortable. One has been seen by a vet and confirmed to have cat flu, while the others are dealing with worms and upset stomachs, so they’re being supported with probiotics and ongoing care.
I did reach out to rescues early on to explore options, and through that I’ve gained a clearer understanding of how those organisations operate. For now, I’ll be continuing to care for the kittens myself and making sure they get everything they need.
I’ve also started receiving some support and donations, which I’m incredibly grateful for. This will go directly toward their treatment, desexing, and preparing them for safe, loving homes.
