Joshua is now with his mother and my cousin as support and translator at the registration office.
If you have a faith and read this please offer a prayer for the best possible outcome.
Have managed to make contact with with his mother who is willing to go to the registration office with him. Today is the big day. Can only pray that something can be done for him. We should find out soon enough.
Unfortunately things are getting harder and outlook for getting Malaysian Citizenship is looking less positive. On the up side after a few days of effort with the help of Joshua we have been able to convince his mother to speak to me. We have had dialogue and there appears to be a will to go with Joshua to get the necessary registration documents signed. So this creates the best possible chance to get him registered.
Hiya everyone, I am setting a goal for what I think will be the minimum needed to provide a safety net for Joshua. Hoping we can reach or exceed this.
A meeting has been arranged with the registration office this morning to see about citizenship. It is a complicated process and not having his mother go along increases this complexity. My cousin's husband will go in support and hopefully Joshua will be able to get an aunty to go in support as well which may help with the application. Early days so no sure which way this will go.
