Violette was a young Mum in her 20’s. We have just had news that she died due to severe bleeding the day after giving birth to her second child.
This is a tragedy for her family left behind in Burundi, a small poor African nation. This family already had very little but now her husband has to somehow work and care for a new born and a two year old.
Burundi has no social welfare and the formula this baby now desperately needs is very expensive.

Violette is my neice. She passed away the day after giving birth to her 2nd child. She leaves behind a 2 year old, a new born and her husband.
Use of funds
This money will be going to initial supplies needed for Violette’s new born baby and also to support the running of the house so that their father can be home with the both children.
Any surplus would go into a savings fund for school in the future.
